Hunting Together Fast Leveling Guide: Reach Level 99 Fast

Reaching the level 99 cap in Hunting Together requires stacking party experience bonuses, drinking yellow EXP potions, continuously looping main quests against zone monsters, and using elemental scrolls matching specific creature weaknesses.

Hitting level 99 during the beta test grants the Beta Tester title, while completing the milestone across three separate classes unlocks the permanent Ice Cat reward. In a test demonstrated by the KGZxnnJgMMw gameplay video, an optimized leveling run from level 1 to 99 took approximately four hours.

Party Experience Bonuses and Level Gap Penalties

Farming inside an active party provides a direct boost to experience points and item drop rates. Parties hold up to six players, with the maximum party multiplier granting a 12% boost to experience for everyone present. In the party interface, the group leader or creator must toggle the leveling setting to "share" so all members earn XP together from hunted monsters.

Player level parity determines whether you receive the full party benefit:

  • Level difference within 10 levels: Full experience bonus applies across all members.
  • Level difference exceeding 10 levels: Experience gains suffer an efficiency penalty ranging from 1.5% to 5% per level discrepancy.
  • Maximum experience penalty: The reduction caps at 30% when the level spread reaches 13 levels or wider.

To maximize efficiency, form groups with players hunting in the same zone who remain within 10 levels of your current rank.

Stacking Potions and Elemental Cards

Consumable items dramatically cut down the time required to defeat monsters. Stacking multiple buffs ensures monsters fall in single skill rotations.

The EXP boost item provides 50% more experience points and runs on a 30-minute timer. Combining this with the optional premium package adds another 20% experience gain alongside a 20% gold boost.

To clear monster packs even faster, check the elemental indicator below target health bars. Hunting Together features four elemental cards: Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. For example, monsters in lava stages display "Week to water," making the Water Elemental Card deal increased damage. Water-based enemies list "Week to wind," requiring the Wind Elemental Card. You can enable automatic consumption of elemental scrolls inside combat settings to keep the proper element active without manual input.

Looping Repeating Zone Quests

The quest system on the left side of the screen provides substantial chunks of experience alongside raw monster XP. Each hunting area assigns a repeatable main quest tied to regional spawns.

Initial zones start with defeating 40 rabbits, which rewards 180 XP, 20 gold, and 5 potions. As you progress into later regions like the Snow Golem map, completing the task of defeating 40 Ice Golems delivers 237,750 experience points, 1,800 gold, and 5 potions.

Quests repeat automatically upon finishing the kill count as long as you remain in the area. When transitioning to a higher zone, cancel your current task by clicking abandon (or pressing R) to pick up the quest matching the new monster type. Upgrading equipment and refining weapons keeps kill speeds fast enough to cycle quests rapidly.

Auto-Combat Settings and Movement Locks

Setting your combat automation correctly prevents wasted seconds between monster spawns:

  1. Click the sword icon on the main interface and select the gear icon to open automation settings.
  2. Select target filters to target specific area mobs while leaving unwanted creatures unchecked.
  3. Configure auto-loot to filter out junk gear or keep potions checked.
  4. Set the attack radius: choose a wide circle if you want your character to roam across spawns, or shrink the radius and enable the position lock button to remain fixed in place at dense respawn spots.
  5. Choose between skill-only auto use and basic attacks. If a skill defeats a monster in one hit, toggle off normal attacks to prevent your character from wasting a basic hit before casting.

Targeting can also be engaged manually by pressing F. When encountering map bosses, disable the F auto-target toggle so your character does not walk into incoming red or green attack zones while dodging. Clear area bosses to unlock local Warp Pillars, which cost small amounts of gold to fast travel between zones, or press H to return instantly to town.
