Choosing Your Starting Class
When starting on the map created by RonB Games, you choose from six distinct classes. Each class features a dedicated combat range, survival profile, and stat focus.
| Class | Combat Role | Primary Stat Priorities |
|---|---|---|
| Swordsman | Melee tank with one-handed sword, high HP, and high defense | STR and VIT |
| Thief | Fast melee attacker with rapid burst damage and high criticals | STR, LUK, and AGI |
| Archer | Long-range bow combatant with sustained single-target damage | DEX, LUK, and AGI |
| Mage | Long-range caster utilizing fire, ice, and lightning AoE spells | INT and AGI |
| Cleric | Support healer capable of applying party buffs and reviving | INT and VIT |
| Merchant | Balanced melee fighter with ground smash attacks and gold bonuses | STR, ASPD, and survivability |
The Swordsman offers the highest baseline defense, allowing beginners to withstand boss attacks directly. The Thief and Archer deal high damage from the start, though both have low baseline health pools that make dodging monster attacks necessary. The Cleric functions well in group settings through healing and the Second Down resurrection skill, while the Merchant focuses on accelerating currency acquisition during standard farming loops.
Configuring Auto-Combat and Controls
Combat functions through direct skill hotkeys in slots 1 through 6, or through the built-in auto-farming interface. On PC, pressing F toggles auto-combat on and off. On mobile devices, tapping the sword icon on the screen activates the feature. Pressing C opens the character menu to distribute stat and skill points earned from leveling up.
Clicking the gear icon next to the sword button opens the auto-attack settings panel:
- Monster Selection: Toggles targeting for specific monster types in your current zone. You can also independently enable or disable targeting for Leader-type monsters, Mini-Bosses, and standard Bosses.
- Skill Management: Allows you to toggle between using auto-attack skills or normal hits only. Selecting skill-only farming speeds up clear times if your skills defeat monsters in a single hit. Clerics can select Support Mode here to focus on healing and buffing party members without entering melee combat.
- Pickup Filters: Automatically collects gear, monster cards, potions, or currency. You can filter item pickups by rarity tiers, or collect all tiers to earn extra cash through money making at town merchant shops.
- Range and Movement: The distance slider adjusts the targeting radius circle. Setting the movement option to Roam and Fight makes your character wander across the map after targets. Selecting Position locks your character inside a fixed area, automatically returning your character to the center if pushed outside.
Party Experience Mechanics and Repeatable Quests
Leveling speed depends heavily on grouping with other players and keeping active zone quests running. Forming a party allows up to six players to share combat gains.
Each member in a party adds a 2% bonus to experience gains and item drop rates, reaching a maximum bonus of 12% in a full six-player group. A level difference rule applies: if the gap between party members exceeds 10 levels, the experience bonus drops by 1.5% to 5% per level, up to a maximum 30% reduction. Loot distribution inside parties can be toggled between Classic, which awards drops to the player dealing the highest damage, and Share, which rotates item drops sequentially among members.
For fast fast leveling, pair your party bonus with repeatable main quests found in the quest log. Every zone offers a quest requiring you to eliminate 40 local monsters. In the starting forest, defeating 40 rabbits yields 180 XP, 20 gold, and 5 mana potions. In late-game zones, defeating 40 Ice Golems yields 237,750 XP, 1,800 gold, and 5 potions. These quests automatically restart upon completion without visiting an NPC, providing steady experience as long as you remain in the zone. If you move to a new area, press R to abandon the old quest and pick up the assignment matching the local monsters. Consuming an EXP potion provides an additional 50% experience boost for 30 minutes, and these potions are often available through developer codes or seasonal events.
Map Progression and Boss Tactics
Progression through the game involves advancing through level-tiered zones separated by gatekeeper bosses:
- Level 1 to 8: Initial starting forest with rabbits and low-level beasts.
- Level 9 to 16: Second wilderness zone featuring boars and lizards.
- Level 17 to 24: Transition zone leading toward the first major town.
- Level 25 Boss Gate: A Gorilla King boss blocks progress to the next territory. Defeating the boss clears the gate to enter the town and its surrounding fields.
- Level 34, 42, and 50+: Intermediate elemental maps leading into the desert city, where monster affinities change.
When executing a solo boss guide approach against zone leaders, turn off the auto-combat toggle (F key) whenever the boss begins telegraphing skills. Bosses display wide red telegraph zones and circular green areas on the ground. Leaving auto-attack active forces your character to walk straight into these telegraphs, leading to quick deaths. Deactivate auto-targeting, manually step clear of the ground markers, and resume attacking once the strike finishes. Stocking 200 to 300 red health potions and purple attack speed potions from the merchant provides the necessary recovery to outlast boss damage. Defeating area leaders permanently activates nearby Warp Pillars, enabling fast travel across zones for a gold fee, while pressing H warps you straight back to town.
Equipment Refinement, Monster Cards, and Level 99 Passives
Character power scales through weapon refinement, card collection, and the level 99 Extra system:
- Blacksmith Refining: Weapons can be upgraded using refine ores found from monster drops. When upgrading gear from +9 to +10, failing the attempt downgrades the item to +8. Using a protection stone prevents this penalty, keeping the weapon at +9 upon failure.
- Monster Cards: Every monster in the game drops a card with drop rates ranging from 0.1% to 1%. Cards slot into equipment to grant flat attack, agility, or percentage damage increases. Equipping duplicate cards is restricted. Collecting all monster cards in a zone unlocks permanent bonus stats in your Adventure Book, such as extra physical attack and magic attack.
- Mounts and Pets: Defeating 1,000 rabbits unlocks a rideable rabbit mount that increases map movement speed. Pets assist by automatically collecting dropped items over a wide radius.
- The Extra Passive System: Upon reaching the level cap of 99 on any class, you can switch to another class at level 1 while retaining access to passive skills from your maxed role. Through the Extra interface, you can equip up to six passive skills unlocked from your level 99 classes, such as Assassin dodge rate and movement speed bonuses or Hunter critical damage boosts. Leveling three separate classes to 99 during the beta also awards the exclusive Ice Cat pet.
